This is my official motto!
When I saw the tee online, I knew I had to have the shirt. I've owned it for at least three years since, only wearing it once or twice a year. That's what I do with all my author, British and Church tees. I know- silly, but they have to stay in great condition. So what's any of this got to do with being an author or writing? I'll share it with you. Mostly in a usual blog, but the rest will be in the vlog you see below.
Check it out! I made a video on November 1st to celebrate National Author's Day. It was fun, laborious and very productive, if I should say so myself. "wink" Know this- I am not perfect. LOL

Hey gang! I hope you enjoyed your second month of the new year! It's been amazing- though I'm still angry with The Jetson's for lying about us having flying vehicles, homes in the sky and personal robots- and no, tiny floor cleaners do not apply! But I think iFloor cleaners and iPhones are very close. Especially Siri and Echo and what's the other's item? Oh well. On with the post!
Progress on my current WIP:
I am so happy with my novel, The Malignant Soul! My ideas have flowed nicely (finally), as I've shared on a few of my social media. The cover is finished- I can't wait to share it. Only those who've subscribed to my newsletter will see that ahead of book release.
Work-In-Progress Celebration, conducted by Bethany A. Jennings | @simmeringmind
It was Instagram that showed me the hashtag: #WIPjoy. I asked where it came from and I was given a .JPEG that listed a month's worth of questions that applied to one's current WIP or Work In Progress. I jumped right in, creating photos from my character sketches and such. I thought it a fantastic idea. Most of you that follow me, have probably seen my pics- They're phenom- and my artist is incredible!
Created by Bethany A. Jennings, the project is set up for the author to get to know their characters, as well as share with the world. I think it's the absolute best. So much, I asked Bethany why she created #WIPjoy.
So I thought I'd share with you all of my pic-posts. I didn't list my responses, because it would have made too large a share, but I hope you enjoy the slide show and stick with me. I have a feeling The Malignant Soul will be a fun novel for me. If I can love it, surely you can too!
*My artist can be found at http://www.brettartz.tk He's the absolute greatest!
Who Am I?
My name's Alyssa and I'm just like you. Within me are stories, looking to be told. I do my best to relay them to the public, as magically as possible.
