I ate this book up in a day!
I waited for this book for months, anxious to hear the conclusion of the first story (The Hatching) that made me both cringe, spastically swat at my body and whine like a two-year old, all at the same time, while begging for more of the narration! The story, Skitter by Ezekiel Boone, makes you do all of those things. It's insanely fun and full of gore that keeps a horror fanatic like me effectively entertained.
Have you ever watched a movie that was so bad, you wanted to snatch your remote and shut it down... But you can't because it's so terrible, you just have to watch it through, to the end? That was my experience while watching STAR (Space Traveling Alien Reject) Don't get me wrong- I'm not being cruel or knocking the hard work of the folks that made this movie, but I am making terrible fun of this tiring, cyanotic creature that somehow managed to be the star (no pun intended) of this 80's themed movie.
How does an Aztec Lord take over a new and modernized civilization? By passing on an archaic virus, of course! In American Mummy, a group of university students make the discovery of a lifetime, which can also bring about the end of the world. Lord Tezcalipoca is out for blood... which is like black gold (oil) in the our present day.
The Extinction Cycle, boxed set: books 4-6 & Extinction Lost (a short story) by Nicholas Sansbury Smith
I KEPT MY PROMISE: I FINISHED THE SERIES, TILL BOOK SEVEN ARRIVES NOV. 2017
So I finished the story and I'm very glad I did. Pushing through Pinchot's narration, I found I really did enjoy the story, from book one through to book six. I'm even interested enough to grab book seven when it releases later this year. The story is a wild ride!,
When a movie reminds you of another movie, you wonder if it's going to be an original goody or not. For me, Death Note was one of the goodies. It reminded me of Final Destination - at first! It then takes on a sort of a mysterious horror, fantasy-like mood and I was thrilled! From beginning to end, I watched with anticipation and wondered how it would end...
I don't know if I should compare this movie to a John Carpenter movie, or Clive Barker or even H. P. Lovecraft, it's a contender! It's wicked, creepy, horrific and totally cool with me! If you're looking for a horror movie that's reminiscent of an 80's horror, but still different enough to gross me into purchasing it in iTunes before even seeing it! I think you will enjoy The Void.
