An eBook review.![]() I was thrilled to finally read Beverley Lee's A Shining in the Shadows! This is the follow up novel to The Making of Gabriel Davenport, which I read in 2016. Book 2 didn't disappoint; I am happy to say. Book two picks up where the first ended, but a short while later. Gabriel's been sacrificed, in order to be saved from a demon- the demon he and his crew from book one were battling. The problem is, Clove (a vampire) saved him; thus beginning a new journey for him. As if he wasn't already confused about who he was! A Shining in the Shadows shares a complicated journey of revenge, hatred and eventually a surprising alliance. The story is about family and how, when united, any foe can be defeated. *Movie Review
*Movie Review![]() I Know You’re In There is a movie that tries it’s best, but falls short. Set high on a beautiful mountain range, this 2016 release takes you on colorless expedition into absurdity. *Short, Sci-Fi Horror![]() This story is terribly sad! I knew it wouldn't have a happy ending because it's written by Jason Werbeloff- a man who specializes in endings that leave you thinking to and probably bellowing from the shock! This is good. Investing Isobella, by Jason Werbeloff, is about a man who thinks he's figured out a way out of debt. The method does not win win out by any means! There's an ending I saw coming, but wow is it amazing! If you like weird, gross and even ghastly- this is your read. Check out Investing Isobella while I move on to the next read. Cheers! Sam, doing a favor for his ex-girlfriend, decided to investigate her home. She claimed it was haunted and her daughter spoke with one of the inhabitants who went by the name of Emily. So with rented equipment, he went for an over night to make contact with the ghost. What ensued was jocular, practical and perplexing. |
