Do you remember where you were?
You may not even be from the US but I bet you remember where you were when you found out about the attack on the Twin Towers. I was at work, at a federal records center when the man I am now married to, but was then just a guy I dated, ran to me and pulled me out to view the news ont he large screens in the lobby.
Many of us were in utter shock that something could happen to us, on our soil. Others cried; I was one of them. The disbelief, the lives lost, the great sadness. Out of the tragedy came a strength that, unfortunately was fleeting, but each year on this date we remember. We remember those who were lost. Those who were brave.
I won't be sharing any media today, but this post. I pray you have a wonderful day and please, never forget.
