*A Children's Book by Fleurie LeClercq
Written around a village called Bankolo Hills in Yaoundé of Camaroon. A little girl, with a pure heart and an affinity for everything, Sun Flower shares what it means to care, love and understand. This a children’s book review of Sun Flower and the Panther by Fleurie Leclercq.
While walking to the river for water, with her friend Remi, they come across a trapped panther cub. What they do is unbelievable and not advised, but the story is lovely.
The illustrations are bright, colorful and a representation of West African culture. Sun Flower and her friend shows young readers that you can show love and care for anything with life. It’s a short and sweet book that doesn’t really have an ending. I’m thinking another book is coming along to step in to finish such a cute tale.
